From our learners
Feedback on the Golden Thread training and clinical documentation coursework.
This was SO helpful. I understood the 'jist' of the Golden Thread but needed to see specific examples of how this should flow through each part of the note. Now I feel like I understand this much, much better. The parts of the training where you showed example notes on MDD, GAD and PTSD were really helpful, as were the example phrases. I can't tell you how glad I am to have found this training and wish I had it a few years ago. I'll definitely be looking into other trainings you offer. Thank you!
I have completed the coursework for The Golden Thread. I shared the link with my class. I think that many students would pay to access the course. It is wonderful
Overall, this was very helpful, especially as a new clinician in my first year that has had little oversight on my notes. I feel much more confident about my note-writing now. Some places got a little redundant, but I appreciate all the prompts, suggested phraseology, and handouts to utilize.
It was helpful to see example notes and phrases. Now I better understand how to weave the Golden Thread through each section of the note. For things to consider changing, the first section (introduction/overview) felt a little long...I found myself wondering 'when is the course going to start?' Thank you SO MUCH for this course, I've been looking for this for the past 4 years since I moved to private practice.
